Student safety is to the forefront of everything we do. We have top class facilities, excellent transportation companies, highly experienced and qualified teachers and leaders, Garda-vetted host families, combined to ensure we provide the safest trip for you / your child. In addition, we ensure:

If students have family in Ireland, they are allowed to visit them during their free time, provided they have permission from their parents, which must include their family’s contact details. These visits must be approved in advance.

Terms and Conditions

  1. All information supplied on the application is accurate.
  2. The parent or guardian will be contactable on the numbers given on the application form throughout the student’s time on the program.
  3. The student must be covered by comprehensive medical and travel insurance.
  4. All costs related to the student’s medical or dental care are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
  5. CIAA reserves the right to dismiss any student found in breach of rules & regulations of the program, without refund.
  6. The parent or guardian and student agree that no liability will be attached to CIAA arising as a result of the parent or guardian or the student’s violation of the terms & conditions and rules & regulations herein. The decision of CIAA is final with no right of appeal.

Rules & Regulations

  1. Students must be 14 or older during the dates of the program.
  2. Students must obey Irish Law. If CIAA becomes aware that any student breaks the law, they will be disciplined accordingly. This may include reporting to the relevant authorities and repatriation, without refund.
  3. CIAA has a zero tolerance policy with regards to the use of alcohol and illegal drugs. Use, possession or purchase of alcohol or illegal drugs is strictly forbidden.
  4. CIAA operates a strict no smoking policy.
  5. CIAA does not tolerate any form of anti-social behaviour – including bullying, racism, lying, theft, physical or verbal harassment or assault.
  6. Students must attend all classes and activities on the program.
  7. Students may not hitchhike or drive a car or motorcycle while on the program.
  8. Students may not go off with a stranger or member of the public at any time during the program.
  9. Students must have a cell phone while in Ireland.
  10. Students may leave the program if granted written permission by their parent/guardian to visit a friend or relative who is an adult. Permission must be received at least one week before the program start date and must specify the name, address and contact number of the relative. A maximum of two program deviations is possible
  11. Curfews are clearly defined and students are required to obey these times
  12. Program participants may not obtain a tattoo or piercing while on the program
  13. Respect for property and people must be shown at all times. Look after your own belongings. The student or their parents or guardians are responsible for any damage or injury that a student may cause to buildings, furniture, fittings, individuals, families, other students.
  14. You must inform the host family where you are going, with whom and when you will be home.
